It has been over a month since I posted my last update on my weight loss journey. It may seem as if I have given up. And, to be honest, I considered it. After that horrible gain a few weeks back, I was feeling a little less motivated. Plus, being without my kitchen for a week made eating well and measuring portions difficult.

Thanks for the Accountability
Well, I didn't reach my 10 lb goal this week. Unfortunately, my monthly visitor decided to pay a call and bring some extra pounds along. So, my weigh-in yesterday was: 259.4 lbs
That is up 4.8 lbs from last week and puts me back a full month. But, I'm really not that worried. I am already down a pound today and I'm sure I will lose it all by the end of the week. This is pretty normal for this time of month.
I am so thankful for this blog, though! Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that I announced to the "the world" (or the handful of people who read my blog) that I was trying to lose weight, I might have gotten frustrated and given up.
But, because I knew I had to come on here and post about my gain, I really took the time to look at it logically and not just let my emotions run wild.
Having accountability when trying to lose weight can make such a huge difference! Without it, you have no one to motivate you to do better or encourage you when you feel down. You also have no one to cheer for you when you succeed. So, thank you to everyone who reads my blog and helps keep me accountable!
